PROJECT INTRODUCTION
“Gemini” showcases a sleek condo renovation in the city, tailored for a professional couple. They needed a space that could host dinners, so we opened up the kitchen and fitted in a dining area, enhancing the condo’s layout for entertainment and comfort. We maximized the space by removing drywall, revealing the concrete walls for an edgy, industrial look that defines the condo’s character. This renovation not only brought in more light but also integrated extra closet storage, keeping the place neat and spacious. Gemini is a celebration of modern, urban living, where functionality meets style in a harmoniously designed space.

CHALLENGES
- Limited natural and ambient lighting
- Insufficient kitchen storage and countertop space
- Small bathroom, not comfortable for two people
- No designated space to display alcoholic beverages
- General lack of storage throughout the unit
SOLUTIONS
- Installed built-in appliances to create a more streamlined and spacious kitchen
- Added open shelving and a built-in wine rack to display alcoholic beverages without needing additional furniture
- Replaced the bathtub with an expanded walk-in shower to accommodate two people comfortably
- Increased kitchen countertop area for better functionality and flow
- Maximized storage with custom closets and double-height upper kitchen cabinets
- Introduced ample ambient lighting to simulate natural light and improve brightness throughout
- Removed drywall around concrete columns, adding usable space while highlighting architectural elements
- Used light-colored walls and tiles to create the illusion of a larger, more open environment

“I heard about Enzo on the BC Georgie Award Website. I saw them earning the 2019 Award for Best Condo Renovation. So I decided to give them a call. We interviewed a few other firms. Unfortunately, they were not as detailed in the pricing and procedure as Enzo. I wasn’t comfortable working with the other companies. During the project, we had a few challenges. The first one was our strata. It was a little bit complicated to get the work permit for construction. And Enzo did a fantastic job getting to all the documents. Also, efficient communication with the strata so that the work could start.
