HERITAGE HOUSE
PROJECT INTRODUCTION
“Heritage House” is a comprehensive interior and exterior renovation project tailored for a retired couple who are former UBC professors. Having lived in their heritage home for 40 years, they embarked on a renovation journey, traveling to Thailand during the process and planning to finalize the interior finishes upon their return.
The couple envisioned a modern update for the exterior, opting for a striking black and white color scheme that contrasts yet complements the home’s historical charm. The existing stonework at the entrance was also upgraded to enhance its visual appeal and preserve the home’s character.
Inside, the renovations are being carefully planned to reflect the couple’s tastes and the home’s heritage status, with final touches to be decided with their direct input. This thoughtful renovation blends modern aesthetics with traditional elements, revitalizing “Heritage House” while respecting its historical significance.
