The “West Georgia” Project is a condo renovation in the same Vancouver building as the “Ocean Drop” project, tailored to the unique needs of a senior couple relocating from Dubai to retire in the city. This renovation not only mirrors the open kitchen and smart lighting features found in “Ocean Drop” but also incorporates elements that reflect the couple’s heritage and personal style. To accommodate their collection of vintage items, the design incorporates classic elements that harmonize with their treasured possessions, creating a space that feels both timeless and comforting. The kitchen was expanded to enhance functionality and ease of use, with added counter space making it perfect for both daily use and entertaining guests.

A walk-in closet was added to the master bedroom to help organize and display their belongings neatly. Smart home lighting features, including cove lighting, were implemented to provide both aesthetic and practical benefits, enhancing the ambiance and accessibility of the condo. The “West Georgia” project skillfully blends the couple’s rich history and the modern conveniences of coastal-inspired design, crafting a personalized and serene retirement haven.
